It blends leading-edge hardware with the convenience and adaptability of an embedded iQ Android system, offering versatility for both educators and students at every touchpoint

• Immersive 4K UHD Display (3840 × 2160) with a 16:9 aspect ratio and LED backlighting – bright, clear visuals designed to last, with a lifespan of over 50,000 hours and a refresh rate of 60 Hz 

• Optically bonded, anti-glare, anti-fingerprint, heat-tempered glass for durability and reduced visual distraction 

• Advanced touch technology:

  • SMART’s HyPr Touch™ with Advanced IR offers up to 50 simultaneous touch points (OS dependent), differentiates between tools, supports Silktouch™, Pen ID™, Palm Rejection, Tool Explorer™ v2, and Object Awareness™

  • Fast response — typical touch latency under 4 ms, with a ≥ 300 Hz frame rate and 1 mm accuracy 

• Included tools: Multi-color stylus pens with fine erasers (×2), magnetic, frame-mounted erasers (×2), and intelligent tool holders. Optional stamps arriving in 2024

Audio & Environmental Sensing

• Sound: Integrated soundbar with two 20 W speakers and a 15 W subwoofer, plus an 8-microphone array featuring onboard acoustic echo cancellation and visual mute indicators 

• Smart sensors: Measure ambient light, proximity, room temperature, humidity, particulate matter (PM2.5), CO₂ levels (eCO₂), and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). These provide useful environmental insights (not certified life-safety sensors) 

Embedded Computing (iQ Platform)

• Operates on Android OS, currently version 13 (embedded iQ), with a planned upgrade to Android 15 in H2 2025

• Powered by an octa-core CPU, 8 GB DDR4 RAM, and 64 GB storage, expandable up to 576 GB

  • A digital whiteboard, split-screen workspaces, interactive widgets, graphic organizers, templates, and imagery tools like Tool Explorer™ and Image Editor 

  • Personalized profiles, cloud library access, NFC sign-in to SMART Account, and the ability to download and run third-party apps via Google Play (Google Play Protect certified) 

  • Supports Google and Microsoft 365 integrations, ed-tech tools for polling and brainstorming, and works across any device platform

  • Offers ad-free YouTube, built-in browser, screen sharing (SMART Mirror), and remote management capabilities (SMART Remote Management)
